Fracture Labs has raised $4.5 million in the latest funding round – the independent game development studio received this funding for Decimated, their debut multiplayer third-person survival game.
The game is set to be released in 2023 however, the exact release is not yet public. Before the release, the studio will use this funding to support development efforts, the launch of their NFT marketplace, and the staking pool.
In the funding round, there were over a dozen Venture Capital firms that participate and made it a reality. The firms include:
- Spartan Group
- Cryptology AG
- Forward Analytic
- Alameda Research
- Houbi Ventures
- Israel Blockchain Association
- Gravity Finance
- Metaverse Capital
- Cointelligence Fund
Located in Tallinn, Estonia, Fracture Labs raised $3.5 million in funding back in 2021. Last month, Decimated released a new trailer. Do keep in mind that this game has been in development for years.
Decimated is an upcoming AAA title built on Unreal Engine 5. What’s unique about this game is it will combine unreal graphics with blockchain technology – this will be groundbreaking to see these two technologies in action.
In the game, the players survive in a post-apocalyptic earth where they can play as human citizens or cyborg cops. Back in 2019, Decimated Won The Best Crypto Game at CGC Conference.
